This is my unconventional way of building a custom boutique style 1x12 guitar cab out of a deep brood bee keeping honey box.

Create a piece of wood large enough to contain the input jack and long enough to span the inside of the guitar speaker cabinet.
One day i started to scribble a cabinet on a piece of paper that was flying around and half an hour later the plan was laid out.
The box design is acoustically less critical than that for hi fi or pa systems but proper construction is essential.
It was only for the pine enclosu.
In my recent holidays i wanted to tinker a little bit and so i decided to build my own 1 12 guitar speaker cabinet.
Primarily the cabinet is a convenient way of housing the speaker so it should be solidly built to ensure no joint vibration unpleasant buzzing and be strong enough to withstand hard use.
This will leave sufficient headroom above the side by side 10 inch speakers to mount the filmosound on a sliding shelf much like vox did with vintage ac30 combos.
You can create a full back quarter or half back if you prefer.
Taking some inspiration from michiel helsloot s elektra 185 amplifier i decide to build a taller than standard combo cabinet.
Adding some reinforcement to the cabinet is always a good thing.
As guitar speakers are different so their cabinets are different.
Many guitar speaker cabinets do not have a back but this can decrease the sound.
